Privacy policy

Clear customer data rules before the store goes live.

Draft policy structure for account creation, checkout, order support, email marketing, cookies, and privacy requests.

Draft notice

This page is written as a practical launch template. Before accepting real orders, have counsel adapt it to the markets you sell into, payment providers you use, and the exact analytics or ad tools installed.

Information We Collect

We collect information customers provide directly, including name, email address, shipping address, billing details, account credentials, order selections, return requests, support messages, and review content.

We may also collect technical and shopping activity data such as device type, IP-based region, pages viewed, items added to cart, coupon use, referral source, and email or ad campaign interactions.

How We Use Information

  • Order operations.
Process payments, confirm orders, arrange shipping, provide tracking, handle returns, and prevent fraud.
  • Account experience.
Save carts, addresses, order history, customer preferences, support tickets, and communication settings.
  • Marketing and merchandising.
Send launch offers, abandoned cart reminders, product availability alerts, and country color recommendations when customers opt in.
  • Store improvement.
Measure traffic, search behavior, product demand, checkout drop-off, and support issues so the store can be improved.

Sharing and Service Providers

Customer information may be shared with vendors that support the store, including payment processors, fraud prevention providers, email platforms, hosting providers, analytics tools, shipping carriers, fulfillment partners, and customer support tools.

We do not plan to sell customer personal information. If future advertising tools create a legal “sale” or “sharing” category in a customer region, the site should expose a clear opt-out control before launch.

Cookies and Tracking

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to keep customers signed in, remember cart items, measure site performance, personalize product recommendations, and understand ad performance.

Customers should be able to manage browser cookie settings. For paid ads, analytics, and remarketing, add a cookie banner or preference center if required by the target market.

Customer Choices and Privacy Requests

Customers may request access, correction, deletion, or export of their account information. They may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email, while still receiving transactional messages about orders and support.
